Atlanta Startup Convos: August Meetup

On August 17, 2022, 50+ entrepreneurs found time to hop on Zoom for a thrilling morning event! The last Atlanta Startup Convos of the summer did not disappoint.

Every 6-8 weeks, Atlanta Ventures hosts an Atlanta Startup Convos Meetup. Three early stage startups shared their 7 minute story of how they started, how they are monetizing, and how they are scaling.

We kicked off the morning with a good ol’ fashioned Zoom Breakout Room networking session. Attendees discussed “What their most enjoyable summer experience was.” It was a quick opportunity to connect with new faces and reconnect with familiar ones before we dove into the Startup Convos.

Medsembly

The higher education needed for physician assistants is no easy task. Students often have little guidance and struggle to find the correct resources, especially for first generation college students and students of color. Having gone through this process herself, Founder Rodeline Joseph created Medsembly — an app that brings together students and mentors in a simple 3-step process covering resumes, mock interviews, and more.
