Atlanta Startup Convos: June 2023

On June 21, 2023, 30+ entrepreneurs joined us on Zoom for an insightful morning event!

Every 6-8 weeks, Atlanta Ventures hosts an Atlanta Startup Convos Meetup. Three early stage startups shared their 7 minute story of how they started, how they are monetizing, and how they are scaling their product.

We kicked off the morning with some insightful discussions between the entrepreneurs in the Zoom Breakout Room networking session. Attendees discussed “What are your favorite outdoor activities to enjoy in the summer?” It was a quick opportunity to connect with new faces and reconnect with familiar ones before we dove into the Startup Convos.

This month’s presenter lineup was one for the books: Jess Flack, Co-Founder of Ubiquitous; Grant Kerwit, Founder of BeNovel; Emilie Schario, Founder of Turbine.

Ubiquitous

Ubiquitous Influencer Marketing is a tech-driven, managed marketplace that unlocks cross-platform influencer marketing for brands and creators by fully automating every step of the process. The company operates on all platforms, but its specialty is TikTok influencer marketing. BeNovel is a marketing consulting company that supports businesses, non-profits, and authors with self-publishing. The company’s main product is Novel, a shoppable video platform that enables brands to embed TikTok-style, interactive videos across all Shopify pages.

Turbine’s software is designed for companies that manage physical inventories and helps them with order-to-cash and three-way match workflows.
