Atlanta Startup Convos : June Meetup

This June, we hosted our third Atlanta Startup Convos of 2022. We were joined by three fantastic entrepreneurs who presented their companies and showed insight into their products.

Every 6-8 weeks, Atlanta Ventures hosts an Atlanta Startup Convos Meetup. Three early stage startups shared their 7 minute story of how they started, how they are monetizing, and how they are scaling.

We kicked off the morning with virtual Breakout Room networking sessions. The question to get everything going was “What’s on your summer book list?”

Falcomm

Falcomm is a next generation company that has developed a new type of semiconductor chip. In 2030, 5 billion people will own a connected device. Many of these devices use power amplifiers which consume up to 80% of the power budget, as outdated designs have become commonplace. Falcomm’s chip design has already shown improvements in energy efficiency, power density, and silicon reduction — with strong tailwinds from the exponential growth of satellite companies.

Blooksy

Blooksy created an innovative new writing template system for books and academic articles. With current tools plagued by inconsistent templates, citation management issues, and time-extensive collaboration, Blooksy fixes these problems with a simple and intuitive design — allowing anyone to start their dreams as an author. AI writing tools and transcription recording make it even more powerful.

XComms

XComms is a multi-channel communication system that brings new tools to messaging. The two-step process makes it easy to implement — companies can add and modify pop-ups, dashboards, wallpapers, and interactive surveys. Collaborative teams requiring fast and efficient communication can scale the system to fit their needs based on employee size and desired tools.
