Robotic security is scaling faster than ever, and Atlanta is leading the way. We’ve invested in Undaunted to help power what comes next.
Why We Invested in Undaunted
At Atlanta Ventures, we invest early in founders building what the world will look like next, not what it looked like yesterday.
That’s why we invested in Undaunted.
Security hasn’t meaningfully changed in decades. Most systems are reactive. Cameras record. Guards respond. Reports get filed after something has already happened.
But property owners don’t want documentation anymore. They want prevention.
Undaunted is building a proactive robotics security platform that combines AI-powered cameras, human-operated robots, and remote experts into one coordinated system. Rather than reacting after something happens, it identifies issues early and responds in real time, helping create safer communities, often at about half the cost of traditional guarding.
And the market is responding.
Since launching in early 2025, Undaunted has deployed robotic security across dozens of properties in Atlanta and is now deploying robots at a pace we haven’t seen before in this category.
“Undaunted’s trajectory toward becoming the nation’s largest robotic security provider in under a year reflects a major shift in the market,” said David Cummings. “The technology is ready, and the industry is ready. Commercial real estate owners want smarter, more effective security for the dollars they are spending, and robotics now make that possible.”
We invested for three simple reasons:
1. The problem is real and urgent.
Property owners spend billions every year across the $50+ billion security services market, yet much of that investment still goes toward reactive solutions that don’t actually prevent incidents.
2. The timing is right.
AI, robotics, and remote operations have matured to the point where proactive security is finally viable at scale.
3. The founder is built for this.
Bryan Dinner moves fast, executes relentlessly, and understands both the technology and the operational complexity of the space. That combination matters in an industry like this.
We’re excited to support Bryan and the team as they continue scaling across Atlanta and beyond. You can read more about their raise here and see coverage in the ABC here.
